Details/Specifics of Change: There is no real time user for NESDIS Calibrated SSM/IS TDR in OSPO product audit conducted in 2011. STAR is the only user and has agreed to run the F16 calibrated SSM/IS TDR software application in house. A decision has been made by NESDIS to divest the processing to STAR, and terminate the calibrated SSM/IS TDR products generation and dissemination on September 30, 2012. Details/Specifics of Change: The NOAA-15 AVHRR NDVI products are getting degraded significantly as the instrument ECT is drifting away from 7:45AM to 4:45AM. The NDVI algorithms could not work optimally with the drift. As a result, the NOAA-15 AVHRR vegetation products are unable to meet the operational requirements for quality. A decision has been made by NESDIS to terminate the NOAA-15 GVI products generation and dissemination on September 30, 2012. Please contact the ESPC Operation if you require more information.
